One week from today—August 15, 2014, to be exact—marks the 75th anniversary of the world premiere of MGM’s “The Wizard of Oz.” After a year-long celebration (or marketing campaign, if you’re cynical), which began last August, the official date has finally arrived!

I will be a guest on Lawrence’s own KLWN-AM 1320’s morning talk show “Timeline” this coming Monday (August 11). Host Clenece Hills and I will discuss this classic film and all things Oz! You can listen in from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. (Central Time), or hop on their website later and stream the program! My segment is the last half-hour of the show.
