Oz-Stravaganza! 2014: Timeless Oz.

I will post more in the weeks ahead, but I’m so very pleased, honored, and excited to announce that I have been invited back as a special guest for this year’s Oz-Stravaganza! in Chittenango, NY—the birthplace of Oz author and creator L. Frank Baum.

This year’s celebration (my third trip to this marvelous event) is shaping up to be one for the ages! The theme is “Timeless Oz,” honoring both the 100th anniversary of Baum’s novel “Tik-Tok of Oz,” plus the 75th anniversary of the classic MGM film version of “The Wizard of Oz.” If that weren’t enough, the International Wizard of Oz Club will be holding its annual national convention on site during this weekend—so lots to do and see and enjoy! Special activities are being planned and coordinated all weekend long, so be sure to check out the information as it develops on the Oz-Stravaganza! website as well as the Oz Club website and join in for either or both in a wide array of Oz and Baum events!

Parades, carnival rides, tasty food, vendor booths, historical tours, presentations, talent competitions, glittering Oz guests, authors, artists, and a wonderful street fair are just some of the reasons to come have fun.
