Oz Comes to Kansas! – OZtoberFest’s 2014 Schedule
OZtoberFest in Wamego, Kansas, is just around the corner—next weekend in fact—and the full schedule of events is available for all who are interested in making a night or day of it—or both!
Friday, September 26, 2014 – 7 to 9 p.m.
First we have Night at the Museum, hosted at the crown jewel of all Ozdom in Kansas: the Oz Museum—a uniquely original immersive experience that allows visitors to journey through the story of “The Wizard of Oz.” From Dorothy’s Kansas farmhouse in the outer gift shop, you enter through her door right into Munchkinland, then on to the Scarecrow’s cornfield, the Tin Man’s cottage, Cowardly Lion’s forrest, Witch’s castle, Emerald City, etc., all while viewing a world-class collection of Oz treasures, collectibles, and memorabilia from both the books by L. Frank Baum and the beloved MGM film, which is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year.
